This website is run by Fitzgerald Co. Salon (ABN 87 660 280 188), a hairdresser at Shop 7/19 Railway Street, Mudgeeraba QLD 4213. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Fitzgerald Co. Salon.

We only collect what we need to look after you, and we handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

This website has no forms and no accounts, so it never asks you for anything. When you book, call, text or message us, we may collect:

• your name
• your phone number and email address
• your appointment details: the services you book, your stylist and your visit history

To do your hair well and safely, we keep notes such as your colour formulas, your future hair goals and anything you tell us about allergies or sensitivities. We only use these notes for your services, and we never share them.

• When you book online. Bookings are made through Phorest, our booking system, and the details you enter there come to us so we can manage your appointment.
• When you call, text or email us, or message us on Instagram or Facebook.
• In the salon, when you tell us about your hair.

We use your details to book your appointments, confirm and remind you of them, let you know if something changes, answer your questions and keep our records as the law requires.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing.

From time to time we may email or text our clients news and offers. If you'd rather not get them, just let us know. Every message tells you how to opt out, and we'll stop as soon as you ask.

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and it doesn't run analytics.

The map on our contact page is Google Maps. It stays switched off until you tap to load it. Once you do, Google may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy.

Like any website, our host keeps short technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site running and secure.

We rely on a few trusted providers to run the salon and this website:

• Phorest, for bookings and client records
• Google, for email, maps and our Business Profile
• Instagram and Facebook, if you follow or message us there
• Vercel, which hosts this website

They only get what they need to do their job, and some of them store information outside Australia. When you use their own sites or apps, their privacy policies apply.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information and keep it only as long as we need it. No way of sending or storing information online is completely secure, though, so we can't guarantee it.

This website links to sites we don't run, such as our booking page, Google, Instagram, Facebook, and Samoey Digital, who built this website. We're not responsible for their content or how they handle your information, so it's worth reading their privacy policies too.

We look after clients of all ages. If you're under 15, please ask a parent or guardian to book for you. If you think a child under 15 has given us their details without a parent's okay, let us know and we'll delete them.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at any time. Just call, text or email us. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.

We'll only share your personal information without your okay if the law requires us to.
